See photo captions for story.

The first few pictures are actually about “the emergency medical system is beginning to collapse.” People with suspected Covid symptoms are finding it hard to get hospital admission.
This photo is about an 80-something old guy who was resting at home with a slight fever but who suddenly got worse and died.
EMcD: How can the system already be collapsing when we have so few infected compared to other countries?
Photo 02
One patient had an strokes but was refused admittance because their temperature was over 37 degrees.
(BTW one wide show this lunchtime was talking about how Covid seems to be bad for your blood vessels and leads to strokes, heart attacks, etc., particularly if your blood vessels are already weak from pre-existing conditions such as diabetes.)

Supposedly PCR testing has been ramped to up 20,000 tests [daily]…
Photo 04
But many people are still being made to wait.
This guy had a 39 degree fever and a headache for 10 days…
Photo 05
…his local doctor judged him to be in need of a test…
Photo 06
But he was turned now by the Yokohama Welfare Center who said that people with mild symptoms were not eligible.

As a little vignette, one hospital has opened this test booth…
Photo 08
…you go in, the doctor slips on those gloves, and tests you from behind glass…
Photo 09
…My main concern is touching those door handles.
EMcD: If you don’t have it going in, you will going out. Those gloves FFS!

Many countries have started to talk about anti-body tests to see how far the disease has spread in the population…
Photo 11
…Japan has started an initial survey from the 22nd of this month by testing the blood from urban blood donation centers…
Photo 12
..but since it is still not certain whether a positive antibody test indicates subsequent immunity, the test results will not be reported to the blood donors.
